Achilles UVDB Verify Accreditation successfully achieved

Building on its strong market position in the water, waste water and utilities sectors worldwide, leading industrial noise control manufacturer Wakefield Acoustics, is pleased to announce its recent success in achieving the Achilles UVDB Verify Accreditation.

The UVDB Verify audit and assessment is undertaken independently by Achilles and provides a rigorous assessment of a company’s risk critical issues with a particularly strong focus on demonstrable compliance to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.

The detailed assessment focused on evaluating both the company’s in house health, safety, quality and environmental systems and also a that of a recently completed site installation (design, manufacture and installation of 80m x 4m acoustic screen at Kingsmill Hospital, Mansfield),where site method statements, risk assessments, safe systems and site arrangements were assessed.

Following a clear focus and investment on all aspects of SHEQ in the business over recent years, Wakefield Acoustics was delighted to achieve the accreditation, further underpinning the company’s commitment to and investment in Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental systems both at its manufacturing plant and also on the end user sites on which it increasingly operates.
