Acoustic Screen for Bio-Drying Fans

SUPPLY SCOPE:

Design, supply and installation of 2 no. acoustic screens positioned to the front of biodrying fans and associated ductwork.

Acoustic panels were manufactured from pre-galvanised sheet steel, with acoustic insulation wrapped and sealed in a melinex membrane to prevent water ingress. The screens were supported by mild steel posts, galvanised after manufacture. Each screen was in the order of 22-25m long x 3m high, in line with the acoustic consultants requirements for the project.

The entire screen was supplied self-finish (unpainted)

Access into the plant areas was provided via 2 no. single leaf doors, complete with external slam latch, and internal emergency push release

PRODUCT SELECTION AND PERFORMANCE:

The acoustic panels offered a direct transmission loss of approx. 25dBA. Screen height and performance determined by the project acoustic consultant.
